About Us

Garden Rentals was founded in 2007 by Gary and Dennis Bollinger. Our first location is in the small town of Zeeland, N.D. (See map.) This house has been in our family for over 60 years, and we hope to offer you a comfortable place to stay while you enjoy some of the best hunting and fishing that ND has to offer.

General Information

  • Pheasant opener is always the second Saturday of October and runs into January.

  • The Missouri River is within easy driving distance for walleye and northern pike or Chinook salmon fishing when water levels allow for boat access. Call ahead to make sure.

  • Groceries, gas, repair, bar, cafe, and friendly people are all located in the city of Zeeland.

  • Printable licenses are available from the North Dakota Game and Fish Dept.

Rental Agreement

We ask anyone who rents from us to abide by these general rules.

  • A 30% deposit is required when booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to your arrival date.

  • Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made 60 days prior to pheasant opener.

  • The house is available by the week (3 day minimum), and prices vary according to the number of hunters in the group.

  • This is a non-smoking rental.

  • Owners of the property are not to be held liable for accidents.

  • Guests are responsible for property damages they incur.

  • Your dogs are welcome indoors, provided you keep their paws somewhat clean.

  • Kitchen cleanup, including dishes, is the responsibility of guests.

  • Cleanup of garage, after cleaning of birds is also guests' responsibility.

  • Please pick up and dispose of dog waste from the parking area.

  • Starting in 2011, we will no longer provide bed linens. Please bring your own (or a sleeping bag). We will provide pillow cases and towels.
